Update: The seminar is cancelled.
Immersive Experiences is the 16th annual Game Research Lab Spring Seminar. The theme changes each year, as do the expert commentators. The Game Research Lab Spring Seminar is the longest running game studies seminar.
The seminar emphasizes work-in-progress submissions, and we strongly encourage submitting late breaking results, working papers, and submissions from graduate and PhD students. The purpose of the seminar is to have peer-to-peer discussions and thereby provide support in refining and improving research work in this area.
Immersive Experiences takes place on 30-31 March 2020 at The Finnish Museum of Games, Tampere, Finland. The seminar is hosted by University of Tampere Game Research Lab and organized in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Game Culture Studies.
